You climb up from San Colombano Certenoli and, after a short stretch of asphalt, take a steep dirt road that continues through dense chestnut woods.

Having reached the Pozza del Lupo pass, at the foot of Monte Ramaceto, we continue with an ‘up and down’ along the ridge from which we enjoy lovely scenic views.
From the summit of Monte Pissacqua, on particularly clear days, various islands can be seen, including Gorgona, Capraia, Elba, Corsica, Giglio and the island of Montecristo.

Then the beautiful enduro descent (13/14 km) begins: a mixture of flowing and technical sections that descend to the valley, just above Carasco.
